SUMMER 2005 NEWSLETTER
CORRECTIONS Summer 2005: Andrea Boyd Article. "Matt MacIsaac's
father, Mac, wrote to inform me that I was in error when I stated that Andrea
was the first Nova Scotia born piper to be accepted to play in the Silver
Medal competitions in Scotland. Actually, Matt MacIsaac was, and he won the
Silver Medal in Oban and placed second in the Silver Medal in Inverness. Matt
grew up in New Brunswick and I wrongly assumed that he was born there. I
should have consulted my own book, "Pipers of Nova Scotia" which had the
correct information about where Matt was born." -Scott Williams
